According to the announcement, Lewis and RTL were selected for the award because of the overall qualifications and expertise of RTL’s management, recognition of the company’s special achievements and exceptional past performance record, cost performance, innovative services and dedication to economic engagement of disadvantaged communities.
“RTL Networks truly appreciates the tireless efforts of the SBA in the areas of advising and advocating for small business,” Lewis said. “It is an honor to receive this award and we look forward to continuing to service our customers in a way that consistently exceeds their expectations and provides the best value for their diverse needs.”
The award coincides with national Small Business Week. National Small Business Week is set as the first week in May, and this year the dates are May 1-7 with national events planned in Washington, D.C., New York City, Atlanta, Denver, Phoenix and San Jose and Oakland, California.
Lewis will be on hand at a reception during the planned national event in Denver on May 4th to accept the award.
