Denver, Colo., December 21, 2009- On November 17, 2009 Richard Lewis, President and CEO of RTL Networks, Inc., participated as a panelist in the “Connecting VETS to USDA” Training Conference at USDA headquarters in Washington DC. During the panel, entitled, “Making Connections at USDA”, Richard Lewis and other successful business owners shared their experience with engaging federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and provided a wealth of information on how to become a successful vendor.

The conference was geared at emphasizing the USDA’s commitment to providing opportunities to Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). Hundreds of SDVOSBs attended the event and were able to meet senior management, learn more about contracting and develop subcontracting connections in the USDA and other federal agencies. Discussions and information exchanges were facilitated by panelists such as Richard Lewis, who shared the obstacles, best practices and marketing approaches that have made RTL Networks, Inc. a successful service provider for the USDA.
