Richard Lewis has been an effective advocate for minority small business interests by volunteering outside of his business and professional responsibilities while remaining active in the small business community as a whole. Mr. Lewis was quoted in Denver’s Urban
Spectrum newspaper saying, “We are each stronger, when we are all stronger; therefore, we must all do our best at whatever we do and support one another.”
Serving on several boards, committees and associations, Richard Lewis has well dedicated his time, energy and experience to bettering his community. He serves as a community volunteer, youth sports coach, and on several boards and commissions throughout the business community; from member to vice president and chair. Mr. Lewis is positioned on the board of directors in both the Denver Metro and the Colorado Black Chambers of Commerce.
Richard Lewis is also a co-founder of the Denver Black Professionals Consortium, an African American-themed networking event which takes place every other year and attracts more than 700 Black professionals from the Denver metro area. Mr. Lewis contributes to the strength of the business community in general, not only through his involvement and volunteer work but also by the success of his own company, RTL Networks, Inc.
